60% weightage is given to the qualifying examination. Once someone qualifies for the qualification, you can raise the test scores again. 20 years ago there were no high scores in schools and colleges. However, recent years in SSLC, plus 2 examinations and colleges, the old students are affected by the weightage system, so the system has been abandoned and the demand for teachers to be selected based on the eligibility criteria. A committee was set up by the Chief Secretary of the School Education Department to study the matter. The committee's report was presented to the government and the recommendations were reviewed.
In this case, the high school committee meeting led by the Minister of Education in January 2, was the basis of the Weightage-based Graduate, Intermediate Teachers and Annual Examination. The Teacher Examination Board is planning to conduct the qualifying examination for the current year in May. The decision taken at the High Committee meeting will be held annually and will be held in May, according to a senior official of the Teacher Examination Board.
